FAQs

In PreK and KG1 students start at 7.55 am and ends at 12.45 pm. As of 2019/20, we will be offering an option for extended day until 3.10 pm.

From KG2 to Grade 5 students start at 7.55 am and ends at 3.10 pm.

From Grade 6 to Grade 12 students start at 7.45 am to 3.10 pm.

Applications are welcome throughout the year. Please call the Admissions office for more information.

Our students come from all parts of the world and currently represent 68 different nationalities.

Yes, we are accredited to teach the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) in Elementary School, and the IB Diploma Prograpmme (IBDP) in Grades 11 and 12.  UAS is also accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA), as well as the Council of International Schools (CIS).

At Universal American School, we offer the IB Primary Years Programme in Elementary School.  In High School our students have the option to follow either the IB Diploma Programme or AP path.

Universal American School prides itself on offering students a variety of personalized learning pathways. At UAS, English is the main language of instruction. Arabic is taught as of KG1. French and Spanish are offered as of Grade 6.
