A Diverse and Inclusive Community

From the moment you step onto campus, you will find a diverse and inclusive community of caring, curious individuals.

Our learning spaces are filled with positive energy, where inquiry, critical thinking, and student agency sit at the heart of everyday learning. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves across a rich academic, artistic, and athletic programme, grounded in New York State standards and delivered through the framework of the International Baccalaureate.

In Secondary, students are supported to make informed pathway choices, whether pursuing the IB Diploma, the Advanced Placement programme, or the American High School Diploma.

These pathways ensure that each learner follows a route aligned with their strengths, interests, and future ambitions.

Student voice, choice, and agency are central to our student-centred approach.

Inspired by Pioneering Emirati Spirit

Over the years, we have grown alongside our forward-looking host city, actively contributing to the vibrant educational landscape of Dubai.

We draw inspiration from the pioneering spirit of Emirati leadership and the vision that has positioned the nation on the world stage. While firmly rooted in our values and legacy, we continue to look ahead.

We believe learning happens anywhere and at any time. Building on our successful experience with distance learning, alongside purposeful use of educational technology and digital literacy, we offer flexible and responsive learning opportunities across all grade levels.

Together, these partnerships enrich student experiences both inside and beyond the classroom.

Our internationally minded, experiential learning environment is strengthened by the diverse talents and perspectives within our community, as well as our close ties with the Al-Futtaim.

Above all, we want our students to lead happy, healthy lives and to thrive in a forward-thinking, collaborative, and engaging environment for learning.

If you have not yet visited us, I invite you to come and see Universal American School for yourself.
