The programme is a rigorous, university-preparatory experience aligned with the New York State Standards (NYSS) across Grades 9 to 12.
Students are supported as they develop academically, socially, and personally, with clear pathways leading directly to higher education.
Teaching and Learning
Lessons are student-focused and structured to support independent learning. | Students are encouraged to think critically, solve problems creatively, and take responsibility for their progress. Learning is supported by experiences beyond the classroom. Week Without Walls and Community, Activity and Service (CAS) provide opportunities for students to explore global issues, contribute to their communities, and develop a broader understanding of the world they are preparing to enter. |
University Pathways
The aim is to ensure every student has a clear pathway for direct entry into a university that aligns with their chosen field of study and preferred location.
| IB Diploma Pathway |
| Students who choose the IB Diploma Programme select six courses and complete the programme over two years. All IB courses include external examinations. Depending on the university and the grades achieved, students may be eligible for college credit or advanced standing in certain subjects. |
| University Pathway (AP and Common Core) |
| Students following the University Pathway select from a range of courses, each lasting one academic year. Advanced Placement (AP) courses include externally assessed examinations. Successful results may allow students to earn college credit or gain exemption from specific university courses, depending on institutional requirements. |
