Every last Tuesday of the month across the 2018/19 Academic year, our Early Years teacher, Ms. Lisa Dornan, is holding emergent literacy workshops to help the parents of preKG and KG1 students enhance their reading experience with their child. Research has shown that the development of early literacy skills is important for later academic success as well as for instilling a love of reading. With this in mind, Ms. Dornan has created a series of workshops aimed at providing parents with the tools to help them nurture emergent literacy in their child.
